Pale ruby in color with subtle purplish highlights, Danzante Chianti presents an emphatic,
richly-complex nose that at first releases appealing floral notes of sweet violets, followed by dried plum
and wild red berry fruit, particularly dark cherry, and then concludes with a spicy array of roasted
espresso bean, dark chocolate, and black liquorice. The palate is satin smooth, delicate, and crisp, with
supple tannins, while the finish seems almost endless.
Danzante wines are the third collaboration created by the joint venture between the Robert Mondavi family of Napa Valley and the Marchesi de' Frescobaldi family of Tuscany, Italy. Danzante, Italian for "dancing," encourages the everyday, energetic celebration of la dolce vita.
