Paul Ginglinger is a historian and a meticulous winemaker. He owns 12 hectares of vineyards in Eguisheim and is a 12th generation of winemaker, his family being local vignerons since 1610. Eguisheim is one of the top Alsace villages, the vineyards here being some of the sunniest and driest in all France due to the protection from the Vosges Mountains to the west.
