The prodigious 2012 Pinot Noir Finn is a blend of fruit from their Estate Vineyard (55%) and the Occidental Road Vineyard (45%). It is fashioned from a selection of different clones and sees about 45% new French oak. Underbrush, cigar tobacco, blackberries, black cherries, plums and sassafras notes interwoven with Asian spices, damp earth and truffle are present in this super-complex, full-bodied, opulent Pinot Noir. The largest scaled, most structured and densest of the DuMOL 2012 Pinots, this beauty will be even better after several years of bottle age, and should keep for 15+ years.

Shows a tightly knit mix of earth-laced plum and blueberry notes, with shades of dried herb and sage. Ends with firm tannins that give the flavors traction. The best of three bottles tasted. Drink now through 2022.

Heritage and experience
Founded in 1996, DuMOL is a latter-day pioneer in the Russian River Valley. Winemaker, Viticulturist and Partner, Andy Smith, farmed the region for nearly a decade before joining in 1999, and Associate Winemakers Julie Cooper and Jenna Davis, and Cellar Master Jaime Eufracio, have over 40 years combined experience at DuMOL.
