    Winemaker Notes

The wine is rich, ruby red in color. On the nose the classic Alexander Valley characters of black cherry and cassis dominate with a complexing element of lovely cigar box oak. Intense Cabernet fruit and spicy oak are the hallmarks of the palate. The wine has a great structure and balance with a backbone of fine-grained tannin and long persistent flavor.
