Winemaker Notes

A blend of 78% Shiraz and 22% Pinotage.

The dominant variety is a rich, spicy Shiraz blended with a deep flavored Pinotage. The 2007 vintage shows intense fruit and I feel that the tannins have lovely soft structure.

Nose is subdued in its youth, but shows clove and liquorice hints. Medium bodied, with ripe fruit flavours. Elegant finish, with oak notes and red fruit following through.
