    Winemaker Notes

Very deep crimson in colour. Aromas of ripe lifted cherries, plums and blackberries with anise, tar, black pepper and hints of herbs and violets. Rich full palate with chewy soft tannins, great structure and length.

Cellaring Potential: Excellent vintage, optimum year 2008.

Serving Ideas: Slow-cooked duck or lamb with a lightly peppered reduced glaze and a creamy parmesan or pecorino cheese risotto.
