Each year some of our finest Riesling vineyards produce grapes that stand head and shoulders above the rest. We choose several of these vineyard blocks, mark them for Genesis, and pick them at optimal ripeness. The result is a beautifully balanced, intensely aromatic Riesling.
Irresistible from the get-go, this fragrant wine offers up inviting aromas of citrus, stone and exotic tropical fruits. Flavors of ripe peaches, brightened with vivid acidity, keep it in perfect balance. The 1.4% resudual sugar is barely noticeable; the finish lingers gracefully and refreshes the palate, inviting the next sip.
The Hogue Cellars, founded in 1982 by Mike and Gary Hogue, is located in Eastern Washington's Columbia Valley, the premier grape growing region of the state. The climate and soils of the Columbia Valley produce grapes with intense fruit flavors and high natural acidity. The wines have a liveliness and ripe, zesty fruit flavors that make them ideal complements to a wide range of foods.
