Bright and clear pale yellow wine with green reflects with intense aromas of citrus and white flowers, ripe tropical fruit on the base gives complexity and character. Round and mineral mouth with a crispy balanced acidity with low alcohol, makes a vibrant and unique Txakoli.

In the heart of Basque Country, the area that sits atop of Spain along the northern Atlantic Coast and is known for it’s wild lands, own language and culinary awards, is also home to premiere vineyards.
Their family-owned 14th century estate, Inazio Urruzola, is located in the heart of Basque Country, Alkiza. It’s here where their family lives among the grapes. They take close care of their estate vineyards, and crafting wine is both their hobby and their way of life. They aim to show the essence of their estate, the harmony between nature and humanity.
In the coastal mountain town of Alkiza, the ocean breeze comes in from the sea cuddles the slopes of Mount Hernio, giving theirr vineyard a remarkable touch. The grape of choice is HondarrAbi Zuri, the jewel of the Basque Country. The proximity of the Cantabrian sea and the Atlantic climate make this wine so distinctive. Year after year, the txakoli ripens with new flavors, colors and aromas.
There are hundreds of white grape varieties grown throughout the world. Some are indigenous specialties capable of producing excellent single varietal wines. Each has its own distinct viticultural characteristics, as well as aroma and flavor profiles.
On the southern edge of the rocky Bay of Biscay in northern Spain, this is Basque country and home to the refreshing and slightly effervescent (usually) white wine, Txakoli. Three subregions compose the larger one: Getariako Txakolina, Bizkaiko Txakolina and Arabako Txakolina. While Hondarribi Zuri and Hondarrabi Beltza are the main grape varieties, other French varieties are scattered throughout the region.
