    Grapes for this crisp, easy-drinking white were sourced from 2 distinct soil types: Table Mountain sandstone, which brings out luscious flavors of honeyed apple, melon and tropical fruit; and decomposed granite, which accentuates Chenin Blanc's citrus and mineral character. An extremely versatile food partner, this crowd-pleaser matches well with a wide variety of dishes, from salads to seafood, mild cheeses to light pasta dishes, sushi to spicy ethnic cuisine. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate recently lauded the Indaba brand for delivering "truly mind-boggling values."
    The Indaba brand was first launched in the US in 1996, shortly after South Africa transitioned to a democratic republic. "Indaba" is the Zulu word for "a meeting of the minds," or a traditional gathering of tribal leaders for sharing ideas. The brand was created as a celebration of the democratization process in South Africa, and from its inception the wines have conveyed the spirit of South Africa to American consumers.
