Intense brick red in color with youthful crimson hues. Intensely lifted aromas of ripe plums, dark cherries and sublimely focused French oak spices permeate the nose. Beautifully crafted palate, carrying over the ripe plum and dark cherry fruits from the nose, and elegantly integrating the fine French oak char, balanced natural tannins and acidity in a persistent finish.
Deep crimson, purple hue; when first tasted in January the wine had a highly expressive and fragrant bouquet, the sweet-fruited medium bodied palate warm, generous and fresh, finding a balance between ripeness and savoury complexity. It has flourished since then, the underlying freshness now even more evident.
