This has a plush array of red and dark plums that lead to a palate with a rich, smooth array of tannins that carry to a long, succulent and velvety finish. A blend of merlot and cabernet franc. Try from 2022.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 La Fleur d'Arthus reveals delicate kirsch, raspberry leaves and black cherry scents with hints of roses and new leather plus a touch of cigar box. Medium-bodied, soft, refreshing and elegantly styled, it has a lovely, quiet intensity and perfumed finish.

At the time of the harvest, a team of 15 people pick the grapes by hand and then sort them thoroughly to retain only the most beautiful fruit. The winemaking takes place in a traditional vat room; after 15 months of aging in new barrels, the wine is bottled without sticking or filtration to preserve its natural qualities.
