Decanter
This easy-going, organic fizz made from Gruner Veltliner, Zweiget and Pinot Noir falls into the Klassik quality level. With its spiced green apple aromas and yeasty palate, it has great energy and a very modern appeal. The rose is equally delicious and a perfect match for lightly spiced foods.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The white-golden colored NV Extra Brut Reserve, disgorged after 36 months with a dosage of two grams per liter in July 2021, offers a clear, deep, fresh and intense, well-concentrated, quite complex and mineral-defined bouquet of white, ripe fruits, cherries and chocolate intertwined with brioche aromas and flinty tones. On the palate, this is a rich and mouth-filling, very generous but precise and structured blend of colored grapes. The wine is full-bodied, intense and complex, and with this well-dosed richness, no gram of dosage will be missed. The finish reveals refreshing lemon aromas and otherwise rather red-wine notes such as cherries and black berries. In any case, this Extra Brut is utterly fresh and exciting.

Fred Loimer started working with his father Alfred in 1988 after completing his studies at Klosterneuburg with stints at Germany’s Nahe and Walter Schug winery in California. Fred took full control of his family’s estate in 1997 and purchased the cellar of the Haindorf Castle on the outskirts of Langenlois. He then constructed a hyper-modern black cube on top of the old cellar symbolizing his aesthetic for modern elegance. Fred began practicing biodynamics in 2006 and is a founding member of Respekt, a certifying body for biodynamic viticulture in Austria. His wines are among the very best examples of Grüner Veltliner and Riesling in the Kamptal. In 2002, he was named “Winemaker of the Year” by Austria's Falstaff wine magazine.
