Winemaker Notes

Brilliant red ruby color. Pleasant mature fruit such as red cherries, raspberries and plums. Notes of sarsaparilla and gooseberry jam, glazed dry fruit, red fruit in syrup and white chocolate. Spices of black pepper, nutmeg, bay leaves, mint and cloves. Sweet, round, vigorous and elegant tannins. Good acidity with character. Simply delicious.

Bright red. Musky aromas of redcurrant, cherry skin and tobacco, with a subtle cedar note; smells like Bordeaux. Tangy red berry flavors are underscored by smoky mineral and herbal notes. Finishes brisk, with an echo of tangy berry skin and good snap. Fans of Old World cabernet should give this one a try.
