The 2013 Napa Valley Luna Sangiovese begins with the perfumed aromas of violets, sweet vanilla and a hint of white pepper. Big flavors of cherries and dark bramble berries begin the journey on the palate with a delicate Kalamata olive undertone leading to an elixir of bright red fruits. The dark chocolate tannins showcase the 2013 vintage and give a strong finish that makes this wine very ageable.
This wine will pair perfectly with a wide variety of pasta, pizzas, and gamey meats.
