The 1999 Pinot Grigio has a golden straw color with aromas of fresh figs, honeysuckle, and melon. A creamy texture surrounds flavors of pear, fig, smoke and spices such as cardamom and allspice. The wine finishes dry and long with a persistent touch of lime, ginger, and almond.
