From the Sonoma Coast wine region, this Pinot Noir has elegant varietal fruit character, with rich aromas and flavors of raspberry, cherry, red current and boysenberries. Hints of mushroom are supported by a subtle oak influence. This wine will evolve into a silky and smooth wine with time in the bottle.
Deep ruby color; dense, dark cherry and earthy aromas; full, rich earthy and dark cherry flavors with some forest floor notes; moderate tannin and oak; good structure and balance; long finish. Big, well structured Pinot with body and flavor to stand up to a nice roast--great value too.
A proper, textbook Pinot Noir - it's dry, nicely crisp, with smoothly astringent tannins. It has pleasant, complex cherry, pomegranate, plum, tobacco, bacon and sandalwood flavors. Not an ager, so drink up with upscale fare.
