Winemaker Notes

The full bouquet is characteristic, complex and very persistent, the palate austere and warm, its considerable full body accentuated; the wine's superb balance and harmony are further exalted by sweet tannins.

Delicious with braised beef, game and aged cheese.

Good medium red. Aromas and flavors of red and bitter cherry, cassis and caramel. Supple, creamy and sweet, showing the density and concentration of this vintage for barbera. But this firmly tannic, long and complete barbera is still a baby.
