Golden yellow in color. It is characterised by an elegant bouquet of exotic fruits when young which evolves over time developing hints of sweetness reminiscent of vanilla. It coats the palate, is warm and prolonged and the finish is well-balanced between freshness and fullness.
Bright gold-tinged yellow. Floral aromas of pineapple, peach and tangerine on the captivatingly fresh nose. Then full-bodied and sweet, but with vibrant acidity framing the rich apple, pear and peach flavors and keeping the wine light on its feet. Finishes with excellent clarity and cut. I admire this wine's overall impression of balance.
The Marco Felluga family have been immersed in the world of wine for four generations, combining the best technical innovations while preserving and respecting tradition. Within Italy's northeastern most region of Friuli, the appellation is Collio. A hilly region north of Venice, on the Yugoslavian border, the soil is composed of sandstone and loam rock. Long recognized for its unique microclimate, Collio's weather is influenced to the north-east by the Julian Alps and by the Adriatic Sea, just 10 miles to the south.
