The Wine Advocate

Mauro Veglio's straight Barolo is once again lovely in 2007. A graceful, effortless wine, the Barolo shows gorgeous depth in a mid-weight, approachable style that defines the essence of La Morra. Red berries, flowers and licorice are woven together nicely all the way through to the inviting, satisfying finish. Over the last two vintages Veglio's Barolo has distinguished itself as a great value and also a beautiful wine to enjoy right out of the gate. It is an excellent choice for restaurants. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2020.
