Winemaker Notes

Melipal (the Aristi Family) owns three separate vineyards situated in Agrelo, Mendoza, Argentina. With total acreage of 188 including 90 year old Malbec. The winemaker is Martin Tosolini, who best understands the potential of Melipal's Malbec grapes. Critical Acclaim

WW 95
Wilfred Wong of Wine.com

Deep, dense inky-purple hue. Pretty scents of blueberry, maple and vanillin-laced oak notes. Smooth, clean entry of balanced raspberry that expands to include tobacco and light mineral accents. Well-structured, drying close imbued with cola, blackberry and oak-infused tannins. An exceptional value from 85-year-old vines.
