Winemaker Notes

The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep ruby in appearance. This wine has concentrated ripe cherry, black currant and plum aromas interlaced with complex notes of dark chocolate, clove and toasty oak and build a complementary blend of enticing aromas. Well-structured and integrated, the richly woven palate boasts mountain characteristics of intense dark berry and cassis with highlights of bay, anise and mocha. Full and textural, hints of nutmeg and vanilla bean add to the long persistent finish.

Blend: 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 4% Petite Verdot, 1% Malbec, and 1% Syrah

Rich and concentrated with ripe black plum and spice; tannic and minerally with excellent structure and a long, clean finish; not ready now but patience will be rewarded.
