Winemaker Notes
Lush and creamy, this mouth filling wine hints of freshly baked apple pie wrapped around a core of ripe pear, crisp apple and a hint of citrus. Richly textured and supple on the palate, with a generous, concentrated finish.

Wine Enthusiast
Firm, spicy and loaded with generous tropical fruits, this has three different clones in the blend, yielding exceptional depth and complexity. The wine moves gracefully from citrus to tropical fruits, with a firm core balanced on juicy acids.
Editors' Choice -
Wine Spectator
Smooth and round, with a spicy, creamy blanket wrapping around a deftly balanced core of pear and citrus flavors that extend into the graceful finish. Drink now through 2013. 1,222 cases made.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2008 Chardonnay Stillwater Creek Vineyard is light gold-colored with aromas of buttered popcorn, spiced apple, pear, and a hint of tropical fruits. Ripe, spicy, and a bit complex, this tasty Chardonnay will provide enjoyment over the next 4 years. Novelty Hill and Stillwater Creek Vineyard are owned by Tom Alberg. The vineyard, located on the Royal Slope of the Frenchman Hills (way off the beaten path), was planted in 2000 and has acquired a reputation for the high quality of its fruit. A year ago the winery moved into its new quarters in Woodinville which it shares with Januik Winery. The Novelty Hills wines are made by the talented Mike Januik. This portfolio over-delivers in a very big way. Every recommended wine in the portfolio is a very good to outstanding value.
