Winemaker Notes

A dense yet supple harmonious wine palate. Lovely plush tannins, rounded texture with bright plumy, cherry fruit flavors and a clean finish with hallmark spicy lingering flavors. Subtle oak characters impart a sweet, vanilla chocolate note.

Critical Acclaim

W&S 90
Wine & Spirits

A fragrant and zesty shiraz, this has the scent of crushed green peppercorns and the stark beauty of flowers growing directly out of rock. Its red fruit lasts with an earthy tension, the wine approachable now and over the next several years. For grilled lamb.

ST 90
International Wine Cellar

Saturated ruby. Black and blue fruits on the nose and palate, with cracked pepper and allspice nuances adding complexity. Becomes more floral with air and shows no rough edges. A sappy, seamless wine that offers very good intensity and strong finishing punch.

Distinctive for a salty edge to the spicy black currant and blueberry flavors, balanced against refreshing acidity and supple tannins. Finishes with savor.
