The color is bright gold. On the nose it is fresh and pleasantly fruity. In the mouth there are flavors of lemon and peach against a mineral backdrop.

Intense and creamy, offering floral, tangerine, herb and stone aromas and flavors. An anise accent pops up as this plays out on the lingering aftertaste. Very harmonious.
Manfred Prüm's 2009 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Kabinett is a bit bigger than usual, and perhaps a bit drier as well at 9% abv, but it still displays hallmark notes of slate, lime and apple. Fruit, mineral and gingery spice notes linger on the finish.
