Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2014 Chablis Valmur Grand Cru comes from south-facing vines. It has a crisp, slightly austere, stony bouquet that suggests more cellaring will be necessary compared to Bougros. The palate is fresh on the entry, very well defined with hints of orange sorbet and citrus fruit, a fine line of acidity and boundless energy toward the focused finish. This cocks a snook (sneers) at the Vaudésir at the moment. Superb. Range: 93-95
