Westhofen’s vineyards lie in a fertile glacial valley of the Rhine. Furthermore, the microclimate of the Rheinhessen region is especially mild ...ideal conditions that enable us to produce brilliant wines utilizing our enthusiasm for ecological, and since 2004, biodynamic cultivation of the soil and gentle, painstaking cellar procedures.

Slow fermentation and lengthy aging in the cellar’s constant temperatures preserve aromas. This is how Wittmann wines achieve their unmistakable expression, which nevertheless varies from year to year.
