Winemaker Notes

A watermelon pink, the Yalumba Sangiovese Rosé has a delicate and fragrant nose highlighted by watermelon and cherry blossom with hints of lavender and cinnamon - typical of this exotic variety. The wine is a light bodied, dry style of Rosé with flavors of watermelon, pomegranate and lavender. The finish to the wine is dry and refreshing with crisp acidity.

Critical Acclaim

JH 90
Australian Wine Companion

While dry, has more mouthfeel and fruit weight than many of its peers; cherry and berry flavours are neatly balanced by acidity, the profile assisted by the moderate alcohol.
